After a long and at times bloody struggle I have convinced grasshopper and kangaroo to produce a tent for aliens. I think we can use it as a phone booth or something.

 

Anyway – Here’s the definition.

I made ribs that can be made thinner/thicker. The number of ribs and spacing between the ribs can be increased or decreased. I didn’t animate sliders because the files are REALLY heavy, and just changing the # freezes the computer for awhile. Sorry!

Here’s a detail of the ribs in each direction. One is along the center curve so the slices are perpendicular to the curve and the other is just slices cut straight

My worlds collided when I read this months issue of One Story, ReMem. The short story, science fiction imagines a future where our memories are uploaded to a public cloud. In the story the structure of the memories is referred to as trees. It’s a good short read and another way to visualize data trees.

Using two different GH definitions I looked at one of my sketches in more detail.
