Here are some ideas for the location and form for the canopy. The main idea is to create the canopy by tension in some points and other points let them loosely to create waves.

Here is another one of our concepts for the canopy. It is a structure to create and enclosed space around a bench. There are two openings – one on either side of the bench. From one side of the bench you have a view into the room and from the other side of the bench you have a view out the window. From a given perspective in the room, one person is concealed and one person is revealed, creating a semi-private conversation space.

 

I team with Justin and Edeline. There are some ideas about the shape and location of our work.

This is one of the ideas of our group. Here is shown how the canopy can simulate waves by hanging some specific points and let other points to drape down. This way by having the surface with openings of different sizes it will allow us to create underneath different shadows.
