artist jon rafman
i thought i’d share one of my favorite artists–while he does not do work in parametric design, his work runs deep in netart and computational languages in a way that i find inspiring in terms of any code based design.
The first link is a non- or a-sensical game where you wander through worlds constructed with seminal works of art, and the second is a recording of scenery in Second Life, paired with a digital reading of Yate’s “The Song of the Happy Shepherd”
Product Family – Jewelry
I attempted two methods of creating a grasshopper definition to create the base for my product family. The second definition appears to have more variability but it has some kinks that I need help with :) I am looking forward to creating a web structure form the most appropriate definition. I created the first by modifying a definition I found online. I created the second by modifying a definition I learned in the Parametrics Reading.
