Ripple & Lipper
This vessel is inspired by the shape of water ripples and splashes. The rich form of this vessel has multiple functions, which can be used as a flower arrangement and a fruit tray. The low flat bottom can be used for fruit placement, and the slender tubular structure in the middle can be used for flower arrangement. This container will be made of silver metal, and the reflected luster is like sunlight refracted by water waves.
SKY VESSEL
Elegant, Curvature, Twisted Form.
This is an angular and hard feeling cage for pet birds, I want to use the diamond shape to present the sense of rich, the birds’ home is even this interesting, how about the interior design of human’s? This is what we interior designer should think about.
Pinecone Vessel Prototype
Concept:
I decided to make a vessel for a pine cone I have. The repetition of geometry is the crucial characteristic of the pine cone in terms of form. The form is derived from the first assignment which mimic the pine cone. The final prototype abandoned some of those similarity and represent it in a more abstract way. The pine cone is supposed to sit on top of vessel.
The vessel will be a medium to hold light sources such as a candle. The design which has layered gaps will also provide organic-shaped shadows to its surrounding when there are light source pointed at it.
Yang Pei / Yushi Zhao
The concept of the vessel is the softness of fabric. Its twisted and distorted form is inspired from crumpled fabric and gives a feeling of softness although it is made from bronze.
Hidden Wave
The outlook of this vessel does not tell the whole story. Inside of the vessel, they are not flat, but consists of three small waves inside of it. It mimics a small micro ocean climate.

Paragraph: What is the flower? What is the UFO? Are they all considered as a gift for human? Can a flower combined with ufo to become a vessel? Those all the questions to us while we modeling. We try to create a vessel using the idea from flower and ufo. The vessels will be floating in the air or on top of the water that straight is untouchable and mystery.
