We try to figure out how to do the connections of our privacy screen. We’ve also laser cut a part of the screen using chipboard. However the installation part was confusing because the connection is a little complicated.

3D Printing: Product Families

Because my 3D printer can’t meet the accuracy of the phone case, I am going to change the phone case family into a bangle family. It also use Voronoi to create a randomly changing shape and attach it to the surface.

Privacy Screen- Process

There are too many people laser cutting this week……
Ummm… more help please!
The labeling works on the screen itself….

but doesn’t show up on laser cutting unfold when “Ei” is connected to “Item”
and it all shows up as null

but when “En” is connected to item, there is line-like curve….. so there shouldn’t be anything wrong with “Edges” itself
and it shows up here:
also, A0 and A2 (and a bunch of other ones) is line-less but it intersects with other pieces…….
Project 2: Design Development – Bernita + Michelle
This week we worked on tilting the panels as well as making the lasercut files. We have some questions about the notching that we’ll ask during desk crit. But here’s a GIF of the tilting – this will definitely help with the transparency!!!

Umm Help…
Attempt at a data tree replacing paths somehow didn’t really work…

Attempt at connecting two sets of breps together in order to get both intersecting lines it works but does not show up in the laser printing file

What do we do now…?
