1) Check the P input of the hex grid component – you can draw a grid on any plane.
2) I don’t know. We saw this in class, too. Let’s try to debug in class.
3) Draw them with Grasshopper instead of Rhino for the greatest control. Box Morph pattern could work too – especially if you just want to control size/scale.
